Plastic Bottle Balloon Air Gun

Examinations have passed, yeah!

Though summer holiday has not yet started, my son has much leisure time to play now.

We had kept some plastic bottles for crafts.

We thought and thought about what we should do with them.

Suddenly we remembered an experiment or game mentioned in a science magazine...

That is to make 'air' gun with plastic bottle and balloon.

After completion, when we pull the balloon and hand off, the 'air' will like a bullet which can shoot the target.

Stay away from negative people

Some people always think negatively.

 

In my opinion, if you are a positive thinking person, you can try to talk to them and affect them in a positive way.

 

But if you are unhappy or have negative emotions, you better stays away from negative people.

 

Or, you will be influenced by them and becomes more and more negative. : )

 

That is what I think.

2013 Daddy's Birthday Card

This card was made by my son to his daddy.

Though the hands were too short, I like the pretty colors he had used.

He had learned some new drawing skills from school and applied on this card, too.

They were the 'nets' at the bottom corners.

These made the card more special!

Inside the card, instead of just writing something, he requested to use the scratch card.

He wrote 'Daddy is the best'. This was his idea, not taught by me. : )

He also wrote daddy's year of birth, too. 

Oh! He disclosed his age @@

I like to do paper crafts with my son.

We use carton box to make tank or other things.

We love paper folding, scratch paper drawing, etc.

I think my son must want to try this, too.

Yulia Brodskaya Quilling Exhibition

Recently, the shopping mall LCX, cooperated with Yulia Brodskaya to hold a quilling exhibitions.

Yulia Brodskaya was born in Russia (Moscow); prior to moving to the UK in 2004 she was interested in diverse creative practices ranging from Textile Painting, Origami and Collage to more traditional Fine Art practices. Following an MA in Graphic Communication (2006, University of Hertfordshire) she continued to experiment and explore ways of bringing together all the things she likes most: typography, paper, and highly detailed hand-made craft objects.

The artworks are so beautiful!

I want to try quilling, too. ^^

2013 Father's Day Card

My son and I had colored the card that I drew previously.

I asked my son to choose the colors and I drew some parts with him.

Though the face looks like daddy, I think the body is.... too thin.

It looks like daddy in ten years ago : P

But I think daddy must like that, ha ha!

We still have to prepare daddy's birthday card.

His birthday is just one day before father's day.

And we are thinking how to celebrate our anniversary.

It is very near to Father's Day, too.

I found these sandwiches. They are so pretty and funny.

 

I just think, you can observe the shape of your daddy's face, his eyes size, color of hair....,

 

and then make one sandwich for him accordingly.

I like the buttons most. I think you can observe which tie and what color of the shirt that your daddy like most, and then make one according to them. Your daddy must like that!

If we have this in our house, I think my son will not play other toys.
