Paper Crafts - Reprocessed / Recycle Paper Crafts

Summer holiday has started.

My son has a lot of leisure time.

I bought some special crafts for him to do at home.

Thus, in rainy days when he cannot go out to playground, he still has something to play : )

Last week, we tried to make the reprocessed / recycle paper.

Piece of Peace World Heritage Exhibition Built with Lego Bricks (2)

More world heritage built by lego. They are so beautiful!!

This time, I like this most. Only white color, but in great details!

As the exhibition is arranged by a Japanese, there were quite a lot of Japanese buildings.

Plastic Bottle Recycling - Eating Utensil / Pencil Holder

We stored a lot of used plastic bottles at home.

I discover that besides making kids crafts, it can be used as a eating utensil or pencil holder to save space and make things look more tidy.

At first, I use pen to draw how will the bottle be cut. Then cut it accordingly.

I cut a 2-3 cm diameter hole for hanging on poles or hooks.

Handmade Old Denim Heart Earrings

I saw this pair of earrings in Pinterest.

They are so creative!

I like making handmade jewelry. But I never think about making them with old denim.

I may try some later, lol!

Piece of Peace World Heritage Exhibition Built with Lego Bricks (1)

We went to a special Lego exhibition with my son recently.

My son felt so surprised to see so many buildings built by Lego.

I myself think that it is amazing, too.

Some of the building used up 100,000 pieces of Lego! @@

Takeshi Kajihara has made miniature of what is real in our world. To see more about his idea behind this exhibition, please click below:

As the artworks are so beautiful, I would like to share them with you by a few issues in my blog.

Can you find the World Heritage that belongs to your country??

Wire Helicopter

Yesterday, my son discovered something.

When he discovered them, he felt very happy!

He said, 'yeah! I can do some crafts with them!'

Guess what he discovered?

He found the wires for typing up garbage bags.

Those wires are about 4 inches long with some white plastic wrapping them.

And then, my son used them to make a helicopter.

Originally, he used some adhesive tapes to help making it.

I helped him to use wire twisting method to combine parts together.

How is it?

I still have a lot of such kind of wires because we do not use them to tie the garbage bags.

He still has a lot to do other crafts! : )

My No.1 Fan

It was so surprising to receive a customer's message, telling me that she had posted her sewing work onto her blog.

Her sewing work was done with the sewing kit that I sold to her.

And this customer is my shop's No. 1 Fan, who had bought from my shop repeatedly. Thank you so much!

She sewed this wallet so well! The face of the cat was even more cute than the sample picture provided!

For details of the sewing process, please go to her blog:

She has a etsy shop selling animal themed products:

If you have made anything from the sewing kit that I sold, you are welcome to provide picture or link to me for posting. It is my pleasure to do that. Thanks!

Summer Holiday Self Design Plastic Hand Fan

Summer starts! It is so hot now!

I want to buy some hand fan for my son.

But when I wandering around shops, I found this DIY hand fan kit.

That is so great!

The fan is made by plastic which is more durable.

And most funniest is that we can design our own hand fans with color adhesive plastic films!

Hong Kong Disneyland

We had annual pass for the Hong Kong Disneyland.

But in the coming year, we will not buy anymore.

Because the entrance fee has been increased about 30%.

That is so... expensive!

Now, if you want to buy one day ticket, for adult it is HK$450 (approx. US$58) and for child it is HK$320 (US$41). @@

But it was lucky that we could try the newly opened facility - Mystic Point before the annual pass expired.

As advised by Disneyland, this facility is unique in the world.

Below is the outside of the Mystic Point.
